Weatherboarding in spring

Feels like spring at last (Photo by Kim Winter)

It’s starting to feel more spring-like, and work on the windmill is stepping up.

The felt on the cap has been fitted, and the larch for the weatherboarding has been delivered. When I visited earlier today, it was being painted with wood protector.

The new joists needed to support the first floor have now been installed, and the floorboards are being replaced so that the provender mill can be returned on Friday.
