Health and Safety briefing

Yesterday four members of the Friends donned safety boots, hard hats and high visibility jackets for a Health & Safety briefing with site manager Ulrika. The briefing is necessary as several Friends are visiting the windmill site on a regular basis to document the restoration progress in words and images to be used on the blog, website and members newsletter.

It was surprising the wide range of rules and regulations that are needed to keep a construction site safe.  Whatever happened to common sense!
